Our premises has a unique local history.
Our building was once a traditional shoeing forge, where blacksmiths worked daily shoeing horses from the nearby army barracks.
Historic records and photographs show the forge in operation, run by a blacksmith and his wife. One well-known horse, Captain Tom, was regularly brought in to be shoed here.
Today, the building still stands - and we’re proud to continue its legacy of skilled, hands-on work, retaining many of the buildings original features.

Over the years, I found a real passion for installing flooring to the highest standard - and that’s what led me to start my own business here in the heart of Stalybridge.
